Acknowledgement & Liability Agreement for Participation in a Firewalk One-Day Seminar

1. Voluntary Participation & Personal Responsibility
I declare that I am participating in the firewalk one-day seminar voluntarily, on my own responsibility, and at my own risk.
I am aware that, despite careful preparation, firewalking may involve physical risks, in particular the risk of burns or other injuries.
I confirm that I feel physically and mentally fit to participate in the seminar and that I have truthfully disclosed any relevant health conditions or limitations in advance.

2. No Medical or Therapeutic Service
I understand that the firewalk seminar does not constitute medical, psychotherapeutic, or healing treatment and does not replace medical or therapeutic care.
No healing promises are made.

3. Responsibility & Safety
I take full responsibility for my own behavior during the event.
I confirm that I have not consumed alcohol, drugs, or any mind-altering substances.
I agree to follow all safety instructions given by the organizer and the team.
In the event of non-compliance with safety rules or in case of apparent self-endangerment or endangerment of others, I may be excluded from further participation.
In such cases, no refund shall be granted.

4. Liability
The organizer shall be fully liable for damages caused by intentional or grossly negligent conduct.
In cases of simple negligence, the organizer shall only be liable for breaches of essential contractual obligations and limited to the foreseeable, typical damage, insofar as permitted by law.
Liability for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health remains unaffected.

5. No Training or Certification
I am aware that this seminar does not constitute professional training and does not authorize independent conduct or instruction of firewalks.

6. Photo and Video Recordings
Photo and video recordings may be made during the event for documentation and promotional purposes.
I agree to the use of photo and video material depicting my person.
This consent may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

7. Data Protection & Newsletter
My personal data will be processed exclusively for the purpose of conducting the event and documenting this consent.
No data will be shared with third parties.
I am aware of my rights under Articles 15–21 of the GDPR.
Yes, I would like to receive information about future events by email.
This consent is voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

8. Agreement
By confirming this declaration, I state that I have read, understood, and accepted the contents in full.
